There are so many beautiful venues for weddings and Fawsley Hall in Northamptonshire is no exception to this. I know it fairly well, having photographed there before and because it was very nearly the venue that my husband and I chose when we were looking for our own wedding. I have never seen it at Christmas though. I was thrilled when Rob and Paula asked me to photograph their wedding just a few days after Christmas. There is something very magical about this place, from Knightley Court where their wedding ceremony and breakfast was held to the grand splendor of the main house, where we snuck off to get some gorgeous couple photos.
Winter weddings, especially at Christmas time take on their own kind of magic, at Fawsley, you have such a beautiful setting and when the early goodbye sun gives way to a host of twinkling lights and candles, they create the most wonderful ambiance.
It really is not hard to fall in love with everything around you when you are with such a lovely couple, their friends and family, in such a beautiful place and I wish them all the very best for their future together. Part of me wants to sing the Brady Bunch, you will see why below. They really are a great family and it was an absolute pleasure to be able to capture their day for them.
I would like to thank Sam for all her hard work on the day, it’s not easy keeping up with me and she did a fantastic job. It was also a wonderful end to a fantastic year and an amazing way to end Daring to Dream Photography Weddings of 2013 and below you can see for yourself what I mean.
What a fantastic way to see out the year. If you would like to talk about your requirements please get in touch. Contact Sarah-Jane on 0777 258 3461 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
